I know the pineapple and carmel comes with the meal, but I've looked at their menu and some of their desserts sound so good, I'm wondering if anyone has ever tried them?

We saw some of them and they looked great. We however were way too full to do more than look at then. I lost count of the shrimp we ate!!!

Let us know how they are.

I had the Coconut ice cream ball once. It was a huge coconut ice cream ball rolled in toasted shaved coconuts and drizzled with hot fudge. YUMMMY!

We always have dinner @ 'Ohanas during our WDW vacations.

My DD once had.......I don't remember the name........slush/ice with the rainbow syrup it was brought to her in a small sand pail w/ shovel. It was the funniest thing! We all had some but not even half of it was eaten.

I also once tried the coconut ice cream ball  it was very yummy!

I LOVE coconut so I was wondering about this dessert, I figure with me, hubby, Mom and my sister we should be able to share one of them. Thanks! :)

DH ordered the chocolate cake during our Feb vacation. He said it was delicious. I was too full to even look at dessert, especially after I ate most of the pineapple and carmel dipping sauce.

My wife and I had the strawberry shortcake on our honeymoon last year. It was the best SSC we have ever eaten. The strawberries were the freshest and the cake was like nothing we have had before. It was the perfect end to a perfect dinner!

DD always orders the coconut snowball--when she orders she asks them to bring her the hot fudge and some caramel dipping sauce on the side--it is soooo good. Very much like a samoa girl scout cookie!;)

Hi everyone,

Wow that coconut ice cream ball sounds GREAT!!! Everytime I've gone to 'Ohana's I've been too full to eat any dessert but I'll definately save room for that dessert. :p

We had some lemon thing but I don't see it on the current menu. I don't remember what it was called, but it was great!

The chocolate mousse was outstanding!! We ordered it for my DD since it was her birthday week. I even had my husband go back one night and get one to go. I ate it while watching the fireworks from the Poly beach. What a memory!!

YUM! You guys are so helpful, thanks so much!!!! When I get back (which won't be for awhile since I'm not leaving until May 8:p ) I'll post reviews for you all, I love reading the reviews, I just wish more people would do it!

When myself and dd5 were there in Oct. she had the snow cone in the sand pail that she had a ball with. I however tried the passion fruit cheesecake and it was WONDERFUL.

I can't believe no one has said anything about the KONA COFFEE AND IRISH CREAM BRULEE'!!!!!!! :earseek:
IT IS SOOOOOO GOOD.
I think maybe I'll have 2 desserts in June! cream brulee and maybe passion fruit creesecake!:teeth:
:wave2:

I always get a dessert to go when we are there, I can't possibly eat it right then, but in an hour or so in the room I might want a sweet bite, so....I order a slice of the chocolate pave. It's yummy and travels well. :)

After eating everything in sight smothered with that wonderful peanut sauce, I can barely even fit one piece of pineapple.

However, my SIL ordered the coconut ice cream snowball and loved it.

I can't wait to go back in November--'Ohana is our arrival day dinner tradition.
