Has anyone ever heard of some sort of "family recreation plan"?

I read somewhere that some resorts offer some kind of family recreation plan where you pay a set fee for your length of stay and have unlimited use of the boats and bikes. Does anyone know anything about this? This would be great for our August trip, since my boys LOVE the water sprites and bikes!

There are several posts on the Boards about this. It is $199 for the length of your stay for 5 people, I think. You can take boats out and they ask that you check back on the hour to see if someone is waiting to use one. IF not, you can go back out again.

Other people can give more details, but I understand it is available at WLV and BWV, I think. Sounds like a really good deal if you are there for several days and have folks in your group that would enjoy the boats and bike rentals.

I don't know how good a deal the package is at BWV because the "lake" is so small I don't think the boating would be that much fun. VWL- now that's another story, you have both huge lakes to play in, plus you can ride the bikes over to FW.

Good point. My understanding is that you could register for the Bike and Boat plan at VWL if your staying on points at another DVC resort, am I correct?
