Has anyone ever heard of "PACE" gyms??

I got a postcard in the mail from my local gym, advertising a whole new set of exercise equipment that they have added. It's in a totally separate room of the gym, this area will be WOMEN ONLY, and it sounds VERY similar to what "CURVES" is all about, with machines in a circuit.

Have any of you ever heard of this, it's called "PACE"??

They are offering a free trial workout, so I might make an appt to check it out.

I looks interesting and sounds fun, actually. Considering it can burn 350-900 calories in 30 minutes it really sounds like something I would be interested in.

Thanks so much, Kath!! It looks a lot like Curves...I think I'll take them up on their free introductory class so I can see if I like it, and find out how much it is. I imagine their pricing will be competitive with Curve's.

Gold's Gym has a PACE room. It will kick your rear-end into shape whether you want it to or not! You don't have a chance to get bored because you change exercises every 30-60 seconds.

My mother joined PACE last year. She loved it when she went, but she stopped going after about a month. Unfortunately this PACE is located about 2 miles from my house, and my mother lives about 20 miles in the other direction. The drive over got to be too much of a pain for her.

I think you'll enjoy it!! It's worth a shot to try it if it's free!
