Has anyone ever had a PB and mayo sandwich?

Everyone I tell this to thinks its nuts, but when I was younger my grandma would make me these sandwiches with PB, mayo, lettuce, and bacon bits! Mmm, really good!

My Dad ate these or at least something similar. He used Miracle Whip instead of mayo.

My dad likes pb,mayo,banana, and lettuce sandwiches. I wouldn't make one for myself, but have tasted his, and they're not that bad really.

That doesn't sound so tasty to me, but everyone has different taste.

I like peanut butter and banana sandwiches.
I like cheese and mustard sandwiches.
I like cottage cheese, cheddar cheese and mustard sandwiches.

In my family, we only eat our blt's with mayo on one side and pb on the other. it's the only way I'll eat bacon ever - I LOVE IT! my dh thinks we're crazy!

I never had that but my daughter will only eat mashed potatoes with mayo. I have no idea where she got it from because we don't know anyone that does that.

When my youngest (now 25) was a toddler, all he wanted were peanut butter and mayo sandwiches. We went through everything in the fridge thinking he was confused.

Nope. He wanted peanut butter and mayo!

I thought he was just weird and that I must be an awful parent for actually allowing the combination. I'm truly surprised that there are so many others who eat this.

Now, I wonder how DS will feel when he finds out he's really not that special after all?

LOL...my dad does! He throws on a slice of cheese too...
He took DH fishing one time and packed that for lunch. DH will eat just about anything, but even he was disgusted ...

...And he puts jelly all over the top of his grilled cheese!

Boy does this bring back memories. I had forgotten that I always had pb and mayo with lettuce. HMMMM now I think that I will go and make me one.
