Has anyone ever flew in to Tampa to get to Disney

We often fly into Tampa. The airport is great and the rental cars are right across from the airport. Go to the desk, get your keys, walk across the street and go. No shuttle buses to eat up your time if you're renting from a major vendor. The drive is less than two hours and we almost never hit traffic unless the weather is bad. It is often a lot cheaper, even factoring in gas to WDW, especially if you would have rented a car anyway.

We purchased our President's week 2014 tickets a few weeks ago and we are flying in and out of Tampa. We have done this before and if the flight prices are better i would not hesitate flying out of Tampa. The rental car prices are usually better as well. the drive is just over an hour from Lake Buena Vista (where the resorts are located) and no tolls!!! i think you have to go through 3 of them now going from MCO to LBV. Crazy!
