Bomas at the AKL in the morning? Anything spetacular that we should try or not try? How is the all around atmosphere of the place? And is it withing walking distance to AK or do you need to take a bus there or take your car if you have one?

we had breakfast there a couple of times when we stayed there, and loved it. The full menu may be found here: http://www.allearsnet.com/menu/menu_boma.htm

The pressed coffee is worth the trip alone,

and I'm not a juice drinker, but I really liked the Frunch : (West African Frunch: a combination of lemonade, pineapple juice, guava juice, orange juice, and papaya juice).

I particularly liked the brioche, and a "casserole" type dish with eggs and meats. There was fresh fruit in abundance.

You cannot walk to AK but must drive or take transport there. Be sure to allow enough time to walk around, look at the lobby and the grounds and to view the animals on the savannah

I believe our PS is for 7:00 or maybe 7:30 on a Thursday and within the 1st 2weeks of December. So I am sure all will be decorated. We just thought we would do Bohmas that day since we are going to AK right after.

We stay at the AKL frequently and breakfast and dinner are always fabulous and a true adventure. Be sure to try the FRUNCH, it is the best.
