Has anyone ever done Capture Your Moment: Batuu or the other locations?

I have been looking at the capture your moment at Batuu and was thinking of doing it when building a Saviis saber to use as a prop . I was wondering if anyone has done this before or any of the other photo packages like this? I guess one of my main questions is how do they do this with the crowds? Do they give you certain locations to photograph?


Like to hear people’s thoughts on this experience if you’ve done something like this before!

I’ve not done Batuu, but have done MK and Epcot. They do let you choose from a few options. I think in Epcot they gave us a choice between 3 countries. At MK I chose the castle and a pic by the Liberty Belle since I knew the latter was going away.

Haven’t done it so no personal experience but not sure what you want to do in case Saviis is running late. Have also not heard of people choosing indoor locations. Curious to hear what others share or what you find out if you contact Disney.

We had a wonderful experience at Hollywood studios for my son's 16th birthday. I didn't realize that Baatu was a different package, but the cast members took us to the R2-D2 & BB-8 statues, in front of Gerdie and then Mama's 50's Cafe (where we had the birthday lunch and cake later), then the stage where they used to do jedi training, and several pictures at Star Tours, off in the empty/unused queue area with the trees and painted murals. We ended up with dozens of pictures over the one session. Will definitely do again in other areas.

We did this at EPCOT with our son and DIL. The photos were awful...not flattering in the light at all. It was a total waste of time and money.

Our son and DIL pay for professional photos when on trips overseas and they are much, much nicer than these. I think you'd have the same luck handing someone your phone and offering to reciprocate!
