I know ANOTHER stroller question, if that possible!

We may still bring our double stroller for our DD's 5 and 21 months like we did last year when they were 14 months and 4 but we're considering this other option.

Has anyone ever done this? Brought a single stroller for the little one and rented when necessary for the older child?

How plausible is this? Can you rent a single stroller in the afternoon/night easily?

I know my 5 year old won't make it all day even with breaks.

Opinions please;)

My kids are older but that is what we are going to do.
We went last Oct. with our dd-6, ds-2 and took the double stroller (well actually the sit and stand which is SOOO heavy). It actually worked that dd would sit in the stroller (she was 6) and ds (2) wanted to walk-this was about 85% of the time.

When we go again end of August (dd-7 and ds-3) we will be taking the umbrella stoller with the basket underneath. If I see that they both end up wanting to sit most of the time (it will be very hot), we will just rent another stroller because I am NOT taking that mega sit and stand stroller!

I know what you mean! We have a sit and stand too and never use it anymore because it's so bulky and heavy!

I have a double umbrella stroller that I may bring or one umbrella stroller and rent for the 5 year old if necessary.

Can't decide what to do...

We did that when my kids were 2 and 4. Either one of them walked or I carried the 2yo in the sling.

Another idea is to bring two umbrella strollers with connectors. That way you can treat it as one unit if there's only one parent to push, or two if you want to go separate ways. When the kids are tired at the end of the day they can both ride.

Where can you buy the connectors? At Toys R Us?
Are they expensive? I would buy a very cheap umbrella stroller and then the connector. This may work and be cheaper than renting for even 2 days. Are the connectors expensive?

Thanks for the link. It's not in stock but now I know what I am looking for! Thank you again!

We have 3 kids - DS8, DD5, and DD2. We're taking a single, lightweight travel stroller with us for our 2YO. That way we'll have it outside of the parks, yet it's light enough for carrying onto the buses.

I know my 5YO won't make it without a stroller - especially in EPCOT where you do a lot of walking. We're just planning to rent one when we need to.
