Hi!

I just called and the price the CM gave me was $163 per weekday night and $188 per weekend night in a standard room. :scared:

I just checked the prices for the same time this year 2012 and they were $134 per weekday night and $159 per weekend.

Are the prices really going up $30 per night or am I overlooking something?
The dates I checked were June 2-8.

Maybe I misunderstood but I don't think so. The extreme temps we are having could have caused me to suffer some type of brain burp.

Anyone know if I understood correctly?

Thanks!
Carla

2013 rates haven't been released yet, so I believe what they do when someone calls to book a room only reservation is to give the highest current rate and then when the rates are released, they'll adjust it.

I couldn't except these figures so I called back.

Pop Century (weekday) is $143 + tax
Pop Century (weekend) is $168 + tax

Increase of $9 per night over this years prices.

The previous CM had priced it with 4 adults instead of 2.

Interesting! I know they are always going to go stay the same or go up, but how ironic they went up $9 per night and this year they added fridges to each room which used to cost $10 per night. I knew they would build the cost in. Truthfully, with the predictions for the economy I really don't see how ANY price increase is warranted??!! Maybe it's just me, but I don't think it is. I think we are going to continue to see tougher financial times ahead....

The 2013 room only rates have been released and you can book by phone only.

The package rates are the ones that have not been released yet.
