Has anyone else ever won a trip to Disney?

My DH won over a month ago from Clear Channel radio, and the reason I'm asking is because we never heard anything else about it. We faxed back the W9 to the radio station and they did say it would take a while, but is over a month too long? I was wondering if anyone else won, now or in the past, about how long does it take for Disney to contact you? They said we would hear directly from Disney because I guess Disney was the sponsor.

I'm just worried that our paperwork got lost or something. I told DH to call the person who faxed him the W9, but he says to give them time.

My MIL won a trip Jan 05, we went Nov 05. It took that long to sort everything out + we could only book 3mo in advance, not sure why. Had a few kinks because we had to work w/ a sweepstakes co that didn't know a lot about WDW. She won it through a newspaper drawing in Ma. BTW, we had to pay for park tickets OOP then get reimbursed after the trip. Everything worked out & we had a great trip.

We won the Keys to the Kingdom contest back in October...everything was done very quickly, but that was directly through Disney.

Not to sound like a pessimist, but doesn't a W9 have your SS# on it? I would call and ask...I was so skeptical that I had really won the trip, that I didn't give them my SS# until I was in Orlando sitting in the Magic Kingdom!

I hope you won, but I would definitely call and ask. People who give out prizes for a living, are used to winners being excited, impatient, and curious. If you handle it in a polite and courteous manner, they will understand you calling to ask questions. :goodvibes

I won a trip in 2000 through a local radio station. It took about 3 weeks before I was able to go in & pick up my prize. Once it was picked up I had about 3 months to use it. I think I won in May because I remember it was towards the end of the school year & we used it in August. Can't remember the exact details. I would call the radio station and just inform them that you are curious and in the process of trying to arrange time off, expenses, etc. I'm sure they will be understanding & can provide you with information about the prize. Good luck :)
