Both my Wife and I are partial to a spot of Mexican and this year we intend eating at the San Angel Inn at Epcot ?

What is the quality of food and service like ?

Cheers.

I've eaten here a few times, and we always really enjoy it. The server we had last year was brilliant and the atmosphere is lovely.

The last time that we were there was probably about 4 years ago. We really liked the food and the service was fine. The only complaint that I have about the place is that it is so dark. Not romantic dark, I mean turn off the lights in your bedroom dark and throw a candle in the middle of it dark.

We have been there twice and I thought that the food was good. I don't remember what I had, but I do remember that the margaritas were very good and very big.

We would go back again, but there are so many other places I want to try first before we do.

I know it's not much, but I hope I helped a little.

This is a nice restaurant, although I agree with the "darknes" issue. It is VERY DARK , ie it's tough to see what you're eating. I thought the food, drinks and service were all very good

If you like Mexican's but decide there is something else at Epcot you'd prefer to try then there are excellent Mexican restaurants at Coronado Springs and also the Swan/Dolphin hotel.

I thought it was 'romantic' dark ;) We ate here in 2000 and last year and really enjoyed it - loved those margarita's:D

we really enjoyed it, and found the darkness added to the atmosphere - you could easily be sitting outside under the starlight by a river in Mexico. Very nice. (but I can't recommend the ride that goes along the river...)

We really enjoyed our meal here on NYE last year.

The CM's were brilliant - the service was fast and extremely friendly. The food was cooked to perfection and there was a wide variety available on the menu. You can see a sample menu at www.wdwig.com I loved the atmosphere and scenery of this restaurant, especially with the pyramids in the back ground.

Highly Reccomended!

We love the atmosphere of the SAI and we used to love the food but the last couple of times, I have to say that the food has really gone down hill.

Much smaller portions than before, less choice and a bit samey!

I have booked us PS for this resturant, one, because we like mexican food, but mostly because it is the nearest thing I have found to the resturant in Pirates of the Carribean ride in Disneyland California. I love that resturant, it is so atmospheric with the fire flies, lanterns and boats going by. I am looking forward to eating in San Angel, I like that 'outside' feeling with all the engineering of rivers etc.!

We made a special point of eating there last time we went. We made sure that we booked a table by the riverside one week in advance. The food was great and the atmosphere was fantastic, with all the passengers on the riverboat ride waving to us as they sailed past.
