Is it worth it? I guess for $49 you get 3 days 2 nights in a 2 br room which also includes a kitchen. I'm just scared because it says if you don't show up or of you don't meet the qualifications then they will charge me $350! U haven't received my confirmation yet and I signed up a few hours ago.

Thanks!

i work for a Wyndham hotel, and i would not trust this deal, they always make it really hard to qualify for stuff like this.

Ok..I will call and cancel tomorrow. It seems too good to be true. I'm glad i Asked because I could not find anything about it or anykind of reviews on the Internet. Thanks for the heads up. They said I could cancel within 15 days.

I'm a worldmark owner and have NOT heard of this?!?!?!

Its to give us a 2 hour tour and presentation about what they offer and probably to try to sell us the timeshare. I'm just worried that if we don't meet the qualifications I will be charged the $350 and I have reservations at the hojo already with the entertainment rate. I'd love to try to stay at the worldmark. I hear its beautiful.

Did you get solicited for this by telephone? I got a call about an offer from Wyndham that sounds like this just last week, and I immediately felt distrustful of it (but I'm not the type that would buy anything from someone who comes to me anyway). The telephone rep was extremely pushy and made me really irritated. I tried to be polite and firm when stating my lack of interest, but she wouldn't quit so I announced that I was going to hang up and did so.

i saw from your signature...i think we must be twins! i have 3 daughters (7, 5,3) and a son 19 months.
Wow! We must be!!!

The new one is very nice, but much further away than HOJOs. I'd stay at HOJOs over our Worldmark any day....

A friend of mine just stayed there and I actually called them to see if I can make a reservation. They don't take reservations there but for $49 I can stay for 3 days and 2 nights but I must attend the 2 hr presentation. I seemed to qualify based on all the questions they asked me.

Now that I'm calling them because I didn't receive my confirmation letter they are not answering.

Hmm. Interesting. Sounds like they could brush up on their communications skills over there.

I finally got my confirmation. What do you think? I

It is exactly what it says - a timeshare presentation. I have attended a few (only bought one - Westin Kaanapali). If you do meet the qualifications and attend, I have never heard of them charging you the $350. BUT (and it is a big but), they usually run longer than 2 hours and you really have to be extremely strong in saying no and stand your ground. One of the ones we did in Mexico, my husband and I just finally got up and left! It is a great deal but you need to decided if it is worth the time you will spend at the presentation and the aggressive sales technics you will encounter. Now, some companies are as aggressive as others - perhaps Wyndham is one.

We did a Wyndham presentation, it wasn't overly pushy in our opinion but it is a timeshare presentation. As long as you are OK saying NO and being good about that (unless you want to buy, Wyndham's are nice) then do it, it's a nice property.
