Has Anyone Done the Trick or Tea at the DLH this year?

I just noticed it on the website and was wondering what it is like.

It's been sold out since it came out but I keep checking several times daily hoping for a cancellation but it's new because DLH has only offered tea service since this January.

Oh no it really is sold out. I spoke to a CM on the phone regarding a not so pleasant Disney dining experience ( she was wonderful on followup) and she checked again and explained as soon as reservations went live at 3am people were reserving it online.
I just keep checking and will keep checking even day of since we are staying at the DLH.

I couldn't believe how fast this did sell out. I called the morning of trying to get my a reservation for my daughters birthday on Oct 2. I ended up settling for the regular tea for this Sunday. Should still be a lot of fun!

I have a friend who got up at 3am to get reservations, she said by 345am all 4 spots and larger were gone. By 430 am all 2 spots were gone. Then she invited me to join her!! We loved the afternoon tea, so really looking forward to this.

I so jealous but happy for you !

I was bummed I missed out mostly because my late mom loved/ was born on Halloween and this is the first time I'm letting myself celebrate it fully in nearly a decade.

I'm going to keep checking but would love to hear all about it

She is a really good friend. She was so sweet to invite us to join her. I seriously didn't think it would go so fast! I tried at 630am and it was sold out.

My first tea was during the DL marathon weekend and had originally planned to go solo but happened to mention it to a friend running the marathon and we had a fabulous time together. I'm so excited to hear you get to join your friend ! We loved the mountain berry herbal tea so much but am curious to see if any special options are offered! Please report back

I like the Mountain Berry as an iced tea, my fav though was the caramel tea. We are going the 16th, so will report back!

We tried the caramel one at the end eating desserts and felt it was better with a scone personally but love to hear other opinions! By the way I asked for a kids Mickey Mouse scone ( the chocolate chip one) and they were able to provide one at no extra cost though I offered to pay extra . If you get a chance to try it , it's AMAZING with Devonshire cream.

Yes, we did that at the regular tea. My younger daughter, while an adult, isn't one to like the fancier sandwiches, and she ordered the children's tea with a glass of Fairy Tale. So I tasted her scone. She liked the PB sandwiches. Then at the end of the meal, since she ordered the Fairy Tale, they gave her the truffles box too. And that Devonshire cream was AWESOME.

Our server shared with us the Devonshire cream is mixed in house as the true Devonshire cream comes direct from London then combined in house with heavy cream, just talking about it has my mouth watering. And that lemon curd..soooo good.

Just curious if anyone has gone, since it started last Friday? I have a reservation in two weeks and am just wondering what's on the menu and how the experience was.
