I was trying to find infermation on this and I can not find it. I know I had read about this before. Has anyone done this and where do you find the information?

Thanks in advance for the information.

Could you be talking about the Family Magic Tour at MK? If so, we took it with a 2YO (free) and a 5YO, and had a great time. There's a description of it at http://www.wdwig.com/tours.htm#fmt

I have read several things regaurding scavenger hunts
Here is info on this subject that I have copied from these boards into my ongoing WDW trip file:

IF YOU WERE A AP HOLDER, YOU COULD PICK UP A SHEET TO FIND ALOT OF HIDDEN ITEMS, ATTRACTIONS, STUFF AT THE MK . THERE WERE 100 THINGS TO LOOK FOR. MY DH AND MYSELF DID IT AND IT WAS A LOT OF FUN. GET THIS SHEET AT CITY HALL IN MK.

If you go to the Wilderness Lodge, the front desk has a handout with clues to hidden Mickeys around the resort.

There is a book out that is full of hidden mickey scavenger hunt games. Here's a link:

Hope this helps.

If you are talking about the Family Magic Tour (Scavenger Hunt in MK), I would say a definite yes if you have kids. I don't think it is appealing to single adults (though we had 2 on our tour). It is incredible to watch your kids in this experience. Be prepared to participate and be silly. Adults must play along. (Hopping, jumping, skipping, crawling, singing and screaming required;) )

We would do it again if they would mix it up a bit!

We took the Family Magic Tour and had a great time! We're all adults with no kids and we thought it was really fun, so I don't think you have to have kids to enjoy it.

When we went last December they were offering 2 different tours. One featured Captain Hook and the other was Malificent. We had so much fun we were going to take the 2nd tour on our upcoming trip. Unfortunately when I called last week to make reservations I found out that they had cut back to 1 tour with no set plan on who the characters would be.:(

There is also a scavenger hunt for free in Adventureland at various times. Clues are given as to find the hidden idol. We found it once and our prize was passes to go to the front of the line at any ride.

Are you asking about the scavenger hunt mentioned in the May Mickey moniter? It is for pass holders only from June 15-July 15 in Animal Kingdom

Any way you could give me a few more details. I am buying my AP on July 13th when I arrive, just wondering if I should plan time for this.,

Thanks
Sandy

I got my info from the Monitor .You pick up the Guide at Island Mercantile in Discovery Island. It says the Guide contains clever questions and tricky searches. You go on rides, see shows to complete the Guide, then you turn it in for a special pin.One pin per PassHolder

This one also was only done last year for Passholders. This year year it is at the AK. We also did it and had great fun trying to find everything. Any of these type of games make you see alot of things you would just walk by.
