Hello, just wondering if anyone has attended the movie & sing-along at Fort Wilderness? I had every intention of making it the last 3 years but for whatever reason we never made it. This year we have extra time and this is something I am blocking an evening to do. We are staying at CBR so my question.. is it worth it? any reviews/info would be great...it does sound fun for my DD5 and actually the whole family. :thumbsup2 TIA

Yes, for a free activity it's actually pretty good! Chip and Dale come out and help with the sing-along, and then go through the crowd for photos. There's a wagon you can buy snacks from and I believe you can check the movie schedule ahead of time but can't remember. I, for one, enjoyed being able to watch a movie and eat smores at the same time...... something you usually can't combine as most of us don't have tvs by our fire pits!

It's a fun evening out and if you have a 5yrold they'll love it. I was in my mid 20's travelling solo and still loved it.

Thanks so much...I am making sure we make it over there this year. :cool1: Plus movie & smores = happy child and parents..LOL they do have the movies listed on buildabettermousetrip :thumbsup2

1) Even for a paid activity it is pretty good.
2) We go at least once a year.
3) We do everything but the sing-along.
4) I am forced to listen - according to my wife,
. . . my voice has been compared to fingernails on a chalkboard
. . . my voice brings out wild animals from the woods

Do they do the movies/smores night in the last weeks of December? Or would it most probably be too cold?
