Hi - Just going through my Passporter and stumbled across a tour in MK that I never knew existed -

Family Magic Tour.

Sounds pretty fun to do. Has anyone done it and can you tell me if it was enjoyable & worth the $25. We have a DS6 and a DS1.5.

Thanks!

Sorry I haven't. But I wanted to bump this back to page one for you.

We did it and it was great for the kids. It's a scavenger hunt throughout MK with a surprise character at the end. (When we did it, it was Peter Pan and he took on all on the Small World ride after). We did it when my DS was 4. That was 4 years ago and he still talks about it being his favorite Disney memory.

We did this tour this past December and loved it! We had the same scenario as kaygela. Peter Pan steals Captain Hook's hook and you have to follow the treasure map (w/ a CM) to try and locate it. It's about 2 hours. Well worth it. My DS was 4 and our friend's DD was 6 at the time and in my opinion that's the perfect age! The kids had to jump, skip, hop and even crawl (indoors of course!) And just a warning, the tour guide tries to get the adults involved too!!!
I don't want to give too much away, but I definitely reccommend it! Its also pretty cool to see all the people around you staring wondering what the heck is going on!!!!

We did this last November and it was so much fun. Me, DH, DD (18) and DS (5). You must be willing to do anything and not get embarrassed easily. My DS and DD want to do it again next year when we go. I have so really great pictures of my son with Peter Pan and Wendy on the ride. Michelle

I think we might give this a try when we go in the spring. Our son will be 4 1/2 and I think he would really like it, plus I know I really would::yes:: We tried to fit in in December, but could not make it work. I love reading all of the reports about it.

Do you think that this is something that would be good for an 8 year girl. I am taking my granddaughter next Dec and trying to come up with different things to do that she would enjoy. I really want to make this trip special for her. princess:

Thanks

I just booked this for our upcoming trip! I have a ds that will be turning 7 on our trip. I was wondering if you ride any rides during this? Or, do you just get to ride one ride at the end? How many people do this at one time? Any info or opinions welcomed!:bounce: pirate: :bounce:

You only ride one ride and that's at the end. The tour can accomodate up to 25 people, there were about 18 when we did it.

7 and 8 year olds should enjoy the tour, I'm pretty sure we had a couple in that age group on our tour.

FYI ....there is a small discount if you book the tour on your Disney Visa card!
