Has anyone done both parasailing and jet skiing on Castaway Cay on the same day?

I booked a 3-night cruise for just my husband and myself next August to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. It'll be our very first vacation without kids, who are now 7 and 4, since our honeymoon. Even though it's still 432 days away (who's counting?!), I'm just thinking of activities that we can do since we'll be kid-free. Two things we both really enjoyed on our honeymoon were parasailing and jet skiing. Has anyone done both of these on the same day at Castaway Cay?

My current plan is to try to book one of them the very first thing in the morning, and the other as late in the day as possible. But I'm just wondering, if I'm successful in doing that, how much time would we have in between activities? I'm trying to decide if it'd be worth it to book a cabana as well. We'll be staying concierge, so that should help with getting a preferred time for the excursions. Also, from what I've read, parasailing is frequently cancelled due to high winds (we've been to Castaway Cay twice, and once it was extremely windy), so having a cabana in that situation would be great.

Any other ideas or input would be great! And I can't ask my husband for ideas because I am totally surprising him with this trip.

Thanks!

Yes - we did both and a cabana. My son and I did the parasailing around 10:00 am while my husband and daughter hung around the cabana. She was nowhere near the weight minimum so there was no chance they'd let her parasail. Then we did a 1:00 pm jet ski before we went back to the cabana for the rest of the afternoon. The only thing that felt rushed was lunch between parasailing and the jet ski tour. Even though we didn't spend the day in the cabana, it was used and we would absolutely rent one again if we still had activities planned. On our second cruise the parasailing that we scheduled got cancelled due to wind - my daughter was finally at the weight limit so she was bummed. We spent almost the entire day in/around the cabana and again worth it. My son and husband did a bike ride and my daughter and I went snorkeling so there was about an hour and a half we didn't use it, but still found value in having it.

That being said, this is going to be something you have to decide for yourself as it is expensive and you will be out if it for at least 2.5 hours (1 hour or so for each activity plus time walking to and from it).

Enjoy and happy anniversary!

Wow, thank you so much! That was super helpful!

Do you recall if there were any earlier or later times for either activity? I was hoping for a 9 or 9:30 slot in the morning, and maybe a 2:30 or 3 in the afternoon. That way, we'd maximize our time in the middle. I'm sure we'll have an awesome time no matter what times we get though!

You're welcome! Yes there were earlier and later times - this last trip we had the first parasailing and the last jet ski time slots available, I believe it was 9:00 and then 3:15 or something like that. We split it for the same reason. I just asked concierge to book the first of one and the last of the other. :)
