Has anyone decorated their Magic Bands? Please show us the pictures!

Beautiful. My daughter and I went ooh and aah when we saw it! It reminded us of Ariel. Would you mind sharing your technique?

All of these bands are beyond fabulous, and now I found something to do with my left over crystals from making running costumes for the Princess Half Marathon.

Of course, I only have 2 days until we leave, and I really should be packing, but no, I'm working on decorating our bands!

DD7 and DD4 both have pink bands, and I'm sparkling them up and doing some dots (just not time to get too creative, and I am not an artist).

But I'm a little stumped for mine.

I have a yellow band, and for supplies I have:
white crystals
white/neon orange/hot pink nail decorating pens
sparkle nailpolish in light pink, dark pink(red), purple, turquiose
Silver
and clear topcoat.

Was thinking something to do with Belle - but ideas for something a little more fun?

Some of that makes me think of a Nemo theme.

Or a glitzy Lion King!

You guys inspired me to paint my magic band today. At first I was bummed I had a pink one because I couldn't come up with a good idea, but this seems perfect.

This is BEAUTIFUL! What a great idea.
And then I saw your Rafiki and just about died -- amazing!!
DS3 loves Rafiki. And Stitch. And Olaf.
I'd better not let him see this thread or else he won't be content with the simple "sparkly" that I've been doing for our MBs.

I just have to say, there are so many talented artists on these boards! I wish I had a fraction of the talent you all possess! I hope this thread keeps going to give us ideas for when we finally book our next trip. My wife is very talented with these types of projects and I'm thinking it would be a fun project for our family as preparation for our trip. I'm not sure what my daughter would pick since she absolutely loves EVERYTHING Disney, but I know I'd pick a Captain Hook theme for mine. You've given us LOTS of ideas! Keep up the good work everyone!!!

Went ahead tried Mrsxsparrow's idea with the nail polish My youngest loves yellow and didn't want the color to change, so hers just got clear sparkles. The red mb I did last and is still wet from the top coat. I loved the way they turned out, thanks so much Mrsxsparrow!!!

All three of the polishes you used are perfect. Any chance you remember the brand and colors?

My DSis and BIL just scheduled a summer trip. My nephews are already trying to decide what designs they want so that I can paint them. That's 6 more bands for me to design. I can't wait.

Somewhere in the thread there is a Tink band. I believe the poster used a Tink temporary tattoo on a pink band and then added some jewels...it's really pretty.
