Has anyone decorated their Magic Bands? Please show us the pictures!

I've enjoyed reading all 199 pages of this thread over the last few months. Now it's finally time to decorate my magic bands and I have a couple of questions.

If I'm going to paint it white for a frozen theme, which color band would it be best to start with?
I know some printed their own stickers on address labels. Can anyone report how well that worked and how well they held up? I really want Celia from Monsters Inc and I know the only way I'll get that is if I print my own.

Thank you so much to all who have contributed!

I would start with gray or pink. They seemed the easiest to cover....definitely not blue! Also, when my DH did Frozen bands for 4 of us, the acrylic paint cracked pretty badly on the two for little girls. I think it was because they had to be closed so tightly for the small wrists? The adult bands held up fine.

Thanks for the tip. :)

I painted a green one white and a gray one white. The gray one was a little easier but not significantly so.

After doing pink and yellow bands last year I decided to go with red this year and do a straight Mickey theme. Here's how it turned out:

I prefer to get gray bands if I'm going to use a lighter color to cover it.

22 days until we leave. I'm (impatiently) waiting for ours to ship so I can start painting!

I read through all of these posts just a month ago, so I'm super sorry for asking a question that has been asked a million times before.

Those of you that used acrylic paints, did you put down a base or a top coating? I have a million acrylic paints from painting and my bands should be here anytime! 24 more days!

Both. We use a base coat and then a shinier top coat.

I did not use a base coat with the acrylic paint and mine cracked around the holes where it fastens together. All of my other bands I used clear base and temp tattoos, I only used acrylic paint once and since it didn't hold up I probably won't try it again.

Those look amazing.

I just saw where disney is coming out with more character magicbands...everyone's on here from the simple to the artistic blows theirs away because they are all one of a kind...everyone keep being creative and having fun.

I'm just too cheap to pay $30 for a fancy band when paint is 50 cents haha! That's dole whip money saved right there!
