Has anyone bought carpeting from Home Depot or Lowe's? Your opinions???

Yeah yeah I know, why did I go back to HD. In a word - price. And when we were shopping it was like childbirth - seemed painful at the time but over the years you forget. And do it again.

You know, it's true. I'll agonize and all, but I'll probably go with them because of...drum roll....PRICE! and I'm not afraid to hold their feet to the fire if they need to make something right.

As some in our fair city are fond of saying, "sometimes it is about cheap underwear". This in reference to them trying to get a Walmart in, when some people don't want one because it will "ruin" our town. We only have a "boutique" store to shop in, and hey, sometimes you do just need some affordable drawers without driving forever to get them! Boy I drifted off topic there. Sorry
