Really want to get the sequoia lodge booked while the offer is on and have the money now for that.
With the flights they are still quite expensive and won't have the money for those until January unless its a credit card job! (Would do if we had to)
Kinda hoping they might come down in price too before next June when we want to go as they are still £115 each return for the 4 of us (jet2)
But don't know if its risky not booking the flights now too?
Don't know how I'd find out if they were low on seats unless I kept checking the website.
If we HAD to we could drive through the euro tunnel anyway.

Thanks for all your advice so far you've been great x

In my experience flights have only got more expensive the closer you are to travelling. Someone else may be able to tell you something different?

Generally the less seats that are available on a flight, the more expensive they are.

No, I always do the transport first. But usually do both on the same day hen I've found prices that in happy with for both.

Earlier the better for flights.

Thanks for the replies. Might have to stick the flights on the credit card then.

Re luggage - we all get 10kg hand luggage, will one additional case of 22kg be enough for 4 nights/5 days?
Have only ever done 1/2 week hols abroad.

I rarely book my travel and hotel at the same time (or even the same month) for DLP.
For my next trip, I booked the onsite hotel in August, and I booked my flights at the end of October (found a sale price). I was prepared though, if the flights didn't come down in price, to go indirect by Eurostar if that would have worked out cheaper than the full price flights. As it is, we'll be arriving at CDG the evening before we can check in at our Disney hotel, so I'll keep a look out for a nearby hotel for that night and book that when I see a good price.

Depends on how much you want to bring back with you (we each take a large case!...for all my spending XD) Plus we like to keep our hand luggage free for travel entertainment (Simpsons comics, word search books, snacks etc).

Did I read somewhere you're from Manchester? Because AirFrance/Flybe flights are coming up at £127PP from there to CDG on the Airfrance site. It'll also get you to CDG just before 9am and your flight home would leave at 18:25 so you can maximise your time at the parks while only paying a tiny bit more than the other flights you've looked at :) Also luggage is included in the price! Its one 23kg case each but it might depend on ages (youngest we've flown AF with was 11).

Also: If you haven't already, join Topcashback - you'll get cashback on your flights (1.51% for Airfrance) and DLP booking (3.53% atm but I think it tends to go up to around 5% when new offers come out) if you book them online :)

I've just checked the airfrance website and for 2 adults 2 kids (not sure if that's what you searched for?) on the times you said it's coming up as £700 :(

I'm with quidco for cash back and at the min for dlp it's 5.5% so want to book ASAP really x

I haven't booked my flights yet. I'm waiting for a good deal (maybe something for Christmas). I still have time. And I haven't decided if we do extra night.

But I always book hotel first and then flights.

The £127pp seems to just be for the return journey pp without adding the outbound flight on

Haven't booked the SL yet though so cold change dates as long as the hotel was still on offer on different dates

Cheapest direct with AF is 495.28¬ going up to 833.56¬ depending on times.

Pb is as soon as you put a Sunday in there you have less availabilty and higher prices

Thanks carrie.
It seems the cheapest flights I'm going to get are with jet2:

Outbound:
Sun 2nd - 12:50

Inbound:
Thurs 6th - 17:20

With 2 bags - £443.88 total

Have you added up all the extra charges with Jet 2 like boarding pass printing and assigned seats as it becomes sometimes more expensive than a regular flight and at least with a regular flight if they are pbs you have more help and solutions

That price I quoted includes the online check in charge, but it doesn't include reserved seats (might not bother with this anyway as usually don't)

Ok if that's the best price with them I'd be booking it as they don't really have sales with Jet2 (I've had 10% off a couple of times) and like all low costs airlines the prices just tend to go up the longer you leave it :sad2:

Thanks for your help carrie, much appreciated as always x
