Has anyone booked a room for 40% off and then moved the res. to next summer??

I made a 40% off reservation for one special night at the Contemporary to celebrate my daughter's graduation. The rest will be spent at another cheaper Disney hotel. Now we can't go at that time in early October but will have to move the trip to next May - early June. Has anyone successfully pushed a reservation with this discount up so far?? I think I remember someone doing it by moving it a few or two up at a time. Success stories please!!

This will not be possible

1. 2008 prices / packages are not yet available
2. When you move a discounted rate reservation you will only keep your discounted offer if it falls within the dates it was originally offered for and based on the availability of the hotel for those dates.
3. Since the 2008 dates were not offered in the original date range you won't get to keep your discount if you change it to a date in 2008

Example the free dining offer is for August 26-Sep 22, 2007
If someone booked with the free dining wants to move their dates to say December 2007 they will be able to but will lose the free dining because it isn't being offered in December

THat code offer travel dates end in Dec. so you cannot book it for next year. That was the last group of travel time for 2007.

That rate had specfic travel dates attached to it. And as others mentioned those dates do not include 2008.
