Has anyone been to Big River Grill for football games?

I was wondering if they have all the games like ESPN but not be as busy. We will have a 4 and almost 2 yr old kids.
We can't miss the games though.

I can't even remember if they have a TV --? If so, it's nowhere near like ESPN.
In fact, they might have something OTHER than sports on the set..

We planned on having to go to ESPN. The Pats opening game is while we are in Disney. Not only does BRG need to have sat. tv. they would needs the football package to be able to show an out of market game. This is why I am not chancing it and going to ESPN.

BRG has many TV's, although nowhere near what ESPN offers...

I don't know if they show every game, or just the locals. I know I've watched the Giants there, and have seen a few college games as well. I'd give them a call to be sure.

We will be there for 2 Sunday games so I plan on doing one of them at All STar Cafe. I guess we will see if we like it there the first time and then go again the next Sunday if it worked for us. If not then DH will have to go and get us a table early at ESPN on the next Sunday. I will try to post while I am there if anyone wants info on how All Star Cafe is.

All Star Cafe is closing at some point next month for good...I'd make sure that they are still open when you're going, and if so if they are offering NFL Sunday Ticket (if they're closing before the season's over they may not have renewed their subscription)
We usually get to the ESPN Club at 11:15 to be let in at 11:30 to ensure a prime seat. What team(s) do you want to see and what time are the games?

I knew they were closing after we are there but I did not think about if they would renew their Sunday ticket or not.

We want to watch the Chiefs game Sun 9/9 at 1 and on 9/16 at 4:15.

ooh are you watching Hard Knocks? I love that show! I love Herm and miss him in NY (even though I'm a Jets hater! LOL)
yeah, def. call ahead and see if they are renewing @ All Star. Alternately, see if either of those games are the 'game of the week' and are nationally televised, because a) you can watch from your room, or b) watch from any bar/lounge on property. You may just need to ask them to chg the channel.
Barring all that, I'd get to the ESPN Club no later than noon for the 1 PM and no later than 3 for the 4:15. Be prepared to wait, possibly outside, for seats for the late game.

Yes I have watched a couple of episodes. I need to start Tivo-ing it because I keep missing it.
It's really cool but I wished they still had camp here in town. It's way too hot here though. It's been over 100 the last week.
I think I will have to call AllStar Cafe directly so we don't waste any time while we are there. I wish there was more information on this. We love football and can't miss a Chiefs game and we have the Sunday ticket here and watch all the games because we play fantasy football.

Last year we were in Hawaii for our honeymoon. That was fun trying to figure out what time the games would be on. We were at the pool with our laptop watching our Fantasy Football live scoring and people thought we were nuts. Of course except for the Fantasy people.

This will be my first season in yera not doing Fantasy. We moved into a townhouse and it is very hard to get sat tv. so I broke down and ordered regular cable . Since no NFL Sunday ticket I have decided not to do fantasy. Hope you find a comfy place to watch your chiefs. I will be doing the same on the 9th to watch the Pats.
