has anyone been on the carriage rides

just wondering if someone can give me some info on this. I think they have some that go through FWL and through PO. Planning a little something romantic for the boy when we go down in january. thanks in advance

Yes, we did a carriage ride last year in September at FW. We absolutely loved it. The carriage was so cool and the horse was such a beautiful beast. We had the luck of our ride being timed just right for it to be dusk and we spotted a few deer and some bunnies out along the trails. It was really one of the best memories of our trip last year.

If you have ever had the desire to try a carriage ride one day, then do it at Disney. You won't regret it. $30 + tip is well worth it. Mickey

We are traveling with another couple and their children.We arrive a couple of days after their Anniversary so as a gift we reserved a carriage ride for the couple.It is $30 for 1/2hr ride.
The cast member I spoke with had a great idea.Since you cannot pre-pay and we wanted this as a gift she suggested presenting them with disney dollars to pay for their ride.(which we will do within an anniversary card)She said that was perfectly acceptable payment. I guess all that would be left is a tip for the driver!
