Has anyone been on a Holland America Alaskan cruise?

I have been reading those boards. I even registered to use them. However, now when I try to log in, it tells me that my password/username is invalid and that I need to contact them. I DID contact them via email three times about it. Since then I have received some weird emails from cruisecritic.com and my computer has popped up with a trojan warning twice. I am not saying that cruise critic did it. I just know that somehow it is always when I am trying to use their boards. I don't get that.
I will try to just read the information, though, and see if I can get some help that way. I just will not be able to post or question on the boards.

Syrreal, thanks for the pictures. They are GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!! They added to my excitement. Also, that helps me "see" what I need to pack. I do not have that type of jacket so I will need to go buy one. I have a few thick jackets, but they are not the waterproof type.
Laura, what types of gloves did you and DH pack in June? I have suede gloves and DH has the smooth leather gloves; both pair are Isotoner so they are nice and warm. Does that matter? Do you need the waterproof kind?

I don't actually own a windbreaker either. The one I'm wearing in the pictures is Dh's that I borrowed. It almost goes down to my knees!! As far as gloves, I just wore my regular little woolen/fleece gloves and I didn't wear them that often (on the kayak I wore my scuba gloves <lol> ). So either one of the ones you already have should work. If you are worried about them just buy a not very expensive water resistant pair.

You are going to have so much fun. On celebrity we had two formal and two semi formal nights but I dressed up a little every night. Some nice skirts and sandals and whatnot. But I like to dress up for dinner anyway
