Has anyone been in the Atlanta airport lately? How safe is it?

We have a layover there and just wondered if anyone has been there lately.
What safety precautions are they enforcing for the virus? I’m not sure if I want to get on the plane train, are they crowded? Should we just walk instead?
I did see where they had several workers come down with COVID 19 a few weeks back 🙄.

I can't help for how it's been recently, if it was me, I would let how much time I have determine whether I walk. Or you can see how busy the train is and decide based on that.

Ok yes we won’t have much time. How long does it take to walk from B to A?

When I do a Delta connecting flight at Atlanta, I use the train.

Except for the F concourse, it's a quarter of a mile between concourses. That's about a 4-minute walk. Double that (for slow walkers) and it's an 8-minute walk. Ride the moving sidewalk and walk, it's easily a 4-minute walk from concourse to concourse. The longer walk may be from gate to escalator in the middle of each concourse.

Thank you! I have been searching for a map like this one.

I used the plane train on July 14th and it was not too crowded, easy to stay more than 6 ft from others. On July 22nd I was there for a connection on my way home, but I didn't have to use the plane train. I did notice more people not wearing masks around the airport on the 22nd compared to the 14th, but that just might have been because I was there later in the day on the 22nd and there were more people so there more non-compliant people as well.

Ok thank you for the info. Sounds like some are being careless. Hopefully they require masks now. We can’t go into any place of business without a mask here in Ohio.
