Has anybody used the online DVC website to make ressies? How did it go?

Hi,

I have to make some HTG DVC ressies. Do you think that it's easier/better to email/fax in my requests to the DVC member services? I know that it take 24 hrs for them to read them, but it may just be easier to do since I'm always taking my daughter to Montessori at or near 9am when they open.

Thanks!!

I've used it for low-demand ressies at SSR. I've also used it to add a location request to an existing ressie. It works fine... hassle free. I think it took about two days to get a response.

I've used the on-line request form 3 times - SSR twice at the 11 month window (for April 2006 and Dec (X-mas week) 2006) and once for BWV at the 7 month window (August 2006). All three reservations were made without a hitch!

I'm hoping that someday they have an actual on-line reservation system (like the "regular" Disney resorts) so we can check in real time the availability of whatever resort we are planning to go to......here's wishing...... :tink:

I had no problems booking online in SSR. I got a request confirmation quickly and a confirmmed reservation via e mail in a day. I also got a mailed copy within a week. Give it a try.

I only use the on-line reservation system. It seems hassle free and it has always worked out for me. I am now waitlisted for a Oct reservation, let's see if the on-line system works for the waitlist.

I used it to book my HHI trip for this summer....it was great! I put in the request, got a response two days later saying I had a studio for July 31-August 5. In the meantime, other people said they couldn't book a room for that time. I would use it again!

We've used the DVC site all 4 times this year and it works great.
