We got a really great rate for our California trip, but we have never heard of them. If you have had any experience with them, good or bad I would like to hear. Thanks

We've rented from them once. I believe when we got there they turned out to also be an Alamo or National or some other big chain. Anyway, they seemed exactly like every other car rental business-- maybe not quite as nice an office as Hertz or Avis, but perfectly reputable and legitimate. There is a bus from the terminal to the office and that ran smoothly.

Hope that helps.

Thanks so much. I was just wondering because we got such a great deal that it almost seemed too good to be true.
I feel better now that you have had a good experience with them.
I appreciate the information.

My parents rented from them out of San Diego. They refused 3 cars before they got one that was not totally dirty or smelled like cigarettes. The last car the brought them though was very nice, larger and almost new. If you are not worried about the condition of the car, then you are pobably fine. Just beware that they are definitely lower budget, so you may not get as nice of a car as you would at Avis or Hertz.

We rented from them for our trip to Phoenix in March. They asked DH if he wanted to switch to a convertible for $40 more than what we paid (we reserved and paid through Expedia), of course he said yes, but when we brought the car back, they tried to charge us full price for it. When I said something about it, they acted like they didn't know what I was talking about. So be careful of that also, get the price in writing if they offer you a "deal" so you don't have to deal with it when you return it.
