Has anybody booked a 2012 package over the phone?

I called today to book a AP package and was told there not available yet. I can book one online no problem. The cm put me on hold for 2 minutes and then came back and told me she couldn't do it. The only reason I wanted to do it over the phone was to make sure my room request was noted. This seems really strange that I can book one on my computer, but a cm can't.

Hmmmm, that is strange CM wasn't able to book AP package. When I book my 2012 trip, I think I'll book with the AAA room discount, then switch to AP pkg when AP room discounts come out. Or just wait for Disney to put out the 2012 discounts. But I always book by phone.

Is it within 499 days? I just booked a regular package last week over the phone, for mid-September 2012. Maybe your date is just too far out?

hmmmm I use an agent...but I was able to book my early October 2012 trip last night....

No its for May. I think only 1/2 the cms know what there doing. It took several calls to get my room request noted last year. I wish there was a way to modify and make requests online.

I just returned home from 10 nights at Riverside and none of my requests had been granted. I had to ask to be moved from the Mansions to Alligator Bayou after she began showing me where our room was located at on a map.
The CM did look at our reservation and read me what was noted which was what I had requested over a year ago. I'm not sure how much Disney looks at requests anymore.

I don't know. I had a fustrating phone call yesterday. We needed to change from CBR to POP. We wanted the freedom of having the QSDP. They told me they couldn't help me like after 20 minutes no room under the promo. So I cancled my reservation beacuse online I could book it. IT sort of stinks I had to do it that way. But in the end I got what I wanted so I didn't care.

The one thing I did notice yesterday it was available both ASMO and POP. Today it only shows ASMU and ASSP. So glad I did it yesterday. I think maybe the inventory was low and that was why.

We book our on Sunday . When I call back to day because I had a question the Cm told mr the price I was given and put $2000 down on was not grauntied she said she asked her suppervicer. I called back with my email confermation info infront of me and the Cm I talked to was confussed my the first Cm told me that . I think with the price drop so early this year it is confussiong them call back.

I remember this year I wanted to change my res at poly from May 14-23 to May 14-24 adding a day, but it wasn't available, but I could book a room from the 14-25 so obviously there was a room available on the 23rd after like 10 minute of explaining things to the cm she finally called guest services and they were able to give me what I wanted. I find the booking system weird. There are rooms available but it won't let you book a certain combination of days. Like next year their is no gv room available at the yc from May 9-14, but from the 9-15 there is.
