Yes it is ok. There are 2 types. 1 are just wands that are for show or imaginary play. The 2nd type is able to work with different spots around Wizarding World and make "magic".
Oh I'm so glad to hear this. I plan to buy one in September. Since we are going to in the middle of the week I'm hoping there will be less competition for spell spots. Plus I really like Luna's wand so pretty. So hopefully that's a interactive one.

We bought our first wands in 2012 when I was....well...older than 46. We didn't get around to buying interactive wands last January but I plan to in December. I'm bringing my own tiny black light flashlight to read the map.
I looked on Universal website and the interactive wands were listed being around $47 dollars. You also have to include Florida sales tax so it could end up around $50 dollars.
I have an annual pass. Will they honor the discount when I purchase the wand?
