Harry Potter souvenirs - what did you bring home?

We loved HP, but I have to admit bought less than I expected to. My daughter is the super fan and I didn't see any t-shirts or that type of souvenir that strikes her fancy. She's only 8 and I think the t-shirt souvenirs were aimed more at teens/adults. Her two shirts from Target were way more her style.

Also helping us, she insists she is Gryffindor so those items are way easier to find outside the parks. We already had a robe, tie, etc., from Halloween. While I will agree that the robes in the park are better quality than the Halloween one, her robe was much cooler. In 90+ degree heat, the thinner cheap ones are a better choice than the heavier better quality ones.

But of course we couldn't leave empty handed. We got a pygmy puff and Pigwidgeon (his head turns, which was a big selling feature to her). We already had a wand (birthday present) otherwise that certainly would have been bought. A few candies... Fizzing Whizbies, butterbeer fudge, and a Honeyduke's tin of candy (don't recall the candy, but she really liked that she could keep the tin). Mailed some letters to ourselves with Owl Post (and I bought owl stamps from the 1970s before we went so it was "authentic" postage).

Not a ton of items came home, but what did come home was carefully selected and wonderful!

I was wishing for the penny presses as well. But I suppose that's not authentic.

Rowling probably put her foot down when Universal brass asked her if they could. I have to say, she's very hands-on about details.

I'm bummed that none of the surrounding areas in IOA have a penny press with the 'Wizarding World' logo available.

We bought my DD an interactive wand, robe, headband, necktie all with our AP discount which helped ;)

I sent my son and dtr in law a Howler for their wedding anniversary! They loved it. They are both college professors so I bought my son a Gryffindor tie, and grey cardigan with Gryffindor trim, and some parchment with a quill pen for my dtr in law, the medieval history expert.

My daughter and I have our house lanyards, and interactive wands corresponding to our Celtic birthdays. I have a pygmy puff, she has Hedwig. Last trip we each got a house coffee mug. We also buy a charm for our bracelets each trip.

I like to pick up a few new HP themed earrings from Etsy before my trips as well. I also have a Gryffindor drawstring bag from Etsy that has held up well, and is easier to fit in the lockers than my purse.

After reading through this thread I couldn't help but notice how popular the MacRavenclaw souvenirs are. :dancer:

Any American themed Harry Potter souvenirs ?
Any pictures of what you brought home (paid for & legally) ?
Any available on line ?
Thank you !
Got a 9 3/4 shirt, a cool Hogwarts shirt with the crest. Brought back 4 interactive wands - probably two too many.
