Harry potter opens.....

I just heard that the Grand Opening for Harry Potter is June 18th. We are going down 5/28-6/3 so we will miss it. Happy about that. Was worried that Orlando would be too crowded with HP opening.

Official opening, yes, but the area will soft open several weeks before that. So you may still hit the HP traffic!

I was just thinking same thing, They always have soft openings weeks ahead to work out any bugs in system and crowd control.

I think that's very smart. I'm planning on going on 6/18 but then probably won't be back until HHN in the fall.

Yay! I will be there May 22- June 1 and am very glad the offical opening isn't until after we leave. I am sure the crowds won't be as bad with a soft opening as the offical opening. (Wishful thinking)
