Harry Potter movie SPOILERS

I'm going to a midnight showing tonight, can't wait. I'm rewatching Order of the Phoenix right now.

I watched a BBC "making of" documentary on YouTube, and there is a scene in Weasley's Wizard Wheezes- the set is amazing!!

i posted all the parts to that show on the other thread - it was so amazing to watch. it must be so much fun to do those films

I'll be seeing it in exactly 25 hours! Ack! I can't wait!!!:woohoo:

I started another thread on where the split might be in movies 7 pt 1 and 2. Sorry I don't know how to link the post.

Will be back tomorrow to check in on this thread! :surfweb:

I saw it yesterday and I must say it is simply amazing. The effects are flawless and you really feel as if you are in the movie. I won't give anything away but there is some snogging, as there was in the books, so I guess that might make it a tad inappropriete for some. It is just under 3 hours too, so I suggest you don't drink much throughout the movie. You won't want to leave.

Oh, I am so jealous of all of you! DS is away at scout camp and I told him I wouldn't see it without him! Now I have to wait until NEXT WEEK WEDNESDAY!:scared1:

Leaving soon for the theater, very excited! I've heard that all 18 screens it's showing on here are all sold out already, really glad that me and my friends pre-ordered our tickets a few days ago.

I know or the theater where I work, we sold out all screens to, though we're only showing it on 8. Our theater just couldn't hold all 16 screens with harry potter only. That would be alot of films to have extra.

kitkat - how did you see it yesterday???

I have a feeling I'll be seeing some very angry people not being able to get tickets at the theater tonight.

oh and spoiler away - that's what this thread is for. by all means start talking :)

I know someone who saw it over the weekend, (who works at WB,) and said it was amazing.

I work at a movie theater and we get employee previews of every big movie. I also know that the kids that live on base near me got to see it on Sunday.

hummmmm makes me want to get a part time job before #7 comes out LOL

haha, it really does have some great perks, I get my whole family (mom,step-dad, and sister) in for free to the movies and well of course getting to see them early. We also have first dibs on all the posters which I think is pretty great. It is an excellent first job i think at least.

and in the movie ron has a very annoying, obsessive girlfriend. Was this the same in the book? I never got to book 6.

Yes- Lavender Brown. She is in the book- really, almost all the books- as a very in-the-background Gryffindor girl character. She and Parvati Patil are friends.

Yup, it was in the book .... I was hoping the "Won-Won" made it to the movie :rotfl: I just finished re-reading HBP so I am all set.

I will be seeing it on Sunday but will be back here tomorrow to check and see!

DH and I went ahead and ordered tix from Fandango for tomorrow's 10:30am show. We'd hate to get to the theater and find it's sold out.

Sorry, MomofKatie! I must have posted the same time you did!

I am so freakin' excited over this movie! This was my favorite book of the first six, so I have been waiting a long time to see this one become a movie. My daughter and I, as always, are going to the midnight showing. Three hours and 16 more minutes! :dance3:
