Harry Potter Movie Delay

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince was supposed to be released in November, but has now been delayed to open until July next year.

I bet they're trying to time it so that it coincides with the opening of the new attraction at Universal.

Bummer!

this is good news for universal. the longer delay for the movies, the longer it stays in the news. Personally, I am disappointed as I was looking forward to seeing it soon.

Nope - that's in 2010.

Unfortunately the writer's strike was a factor in the delay plus they felt holding off for a summer release, the film would have a better chance of being a major box office hit.

Weird - my son and I just went to see the new Star Wars movie tonight and there was a preview for the Half Bood Prince, and it said November!

I read about the date change tonight and was not happy.


It was going to be my 'see a really great movie before the holidays start' kind of a thing.

Now it is a' see a movie when it is 100 degrees outside kind of a thing. '

That movie is going to be a hit no matter when it's released...I'm just bummed we have to wait another year!!!
