Harry Potter fans, can you answer this puzzling question for me?

My DS won a movie theatre contest. He was soooo excited! He won a shirt, the movie theatre poster, and 2 baseball hats. The hat is what we question. It is in the Gryfindor colors, and on the back it has the Gryfindor coat of arms. But on the front it says

Harry Potter
07


What does the 07 stand for???? Any ideas?

I'm not sure, but could it be the jersey number on the Quidditch team?

(I need to reread the books, but that's my first guess)

I don't recall seeing #'s when they're playing Quidditch, but it may be his team #??

Did he maybe start school in 2000 so that he'd be finishing up in 2007? I jumped on the HP bandwagon with the 3rd book so I dont' exactly remember when they started.

I believe the # on the back of his Quidditch robe in the movie Prisoner of Azkaban was a 7. But actually in the books they don't have names and #'s on their robes.

I also meant to say that I think they got the 7 from the seeker being the 7th player on the team. You've got 3 chasers, 2 beaters, 1 keeper, and 1 seeker ..... the total being 7.

The first book was published in 1998. But there's no official dates in Harry's world.

All I can think of is students go to Hogwarts for seven years... It's a seven year series...
