Hi.

Just a question about the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, i buy a Christmas Tree Decoration everywhere I go when I can and just wondered do any of the shops in the world do Christmas Tree Decorations? I cant find any on the Universal/Merchandise page?

Also are all the souvenirs from Wizarding World like you are part of the world or are there any that have the Wizarding World of Harry Potter logo on it if you know what I mean?

Thanks all

There were ornaments being sold at Filch's during Christmas 2010. I assume they did this past season as well. Actually, I remember seeing ornaments during offseason too, now that I think about it.

There were also shirts and coffee mugs at least with the WWoHP logo.

If you do a google search on Wizarding World of Harry Potter Christmas ornaments, you'll see that a few come up. There are standard ball shapes as well as a flatter style.

We were there at Christmas and they have 3 types of ornaments. 2 types are flat and have either a character or a house on them. The 3rd type is what we got that is a ball with a picture of the castle and the characters. All are ceramic. We found the flat ornaments throughout the park at the big stores but only were able to find the ball ornament at Filch's.

There is a listing now on Ebay for a set that shows all of them.

Curious -- do they decorate HP with Christmas decorations? For that matter, do they decorate the rest of the parks like Disney does?

Universal doesn't decorate to the extent Disney does. At IOA the decorations are confined to HP, Seuss Landing and Port of Entry mostly and at the Studios, it's more around the front part of the park and on the parade route.

Do the on-site hotels decorate (trees in the lobby, etc.)?

HP gets very "natural" looking decorations, no lights, just wreaths and they line some of the store front roofs with tree/wreath material (I have no idea what that would be called!)

Seuss Landing has some really beautiful decoration during Christmas!

Thanks! I prefer the old-fashioned garland and wreaths than all the lights and commercialism that some parks do. I like Disney's decorations too, but the colonial way of decorating is also nice for a change.
