wanna know something completely irrelevant? last week, this employee at a supermarket in canada opened a box that was full of the new books that are coming out. he didnt know it was too early to sell them, and apparently, neither did anyone else. people started buying them, word got out, and apparenty the british government forced them to sign a paper that basiacally said that if they gave any of the secrets away, they would be put in jail!!
:rotfl:

p.s,i dont want to get in any scraps with anyone, so ill note ahead of time that i was just joking about the "overrated" thing :goodvibes

wow, i wish i was in canada so i could have got a copy...

I loved the Harry Potter books... Can't wait for the newest one to come out.

Draco Malfoy is awesome :lovestruc

They made them give the books back and if they dont say anything to anyone else they get the book back w/J.k.'s signature in it and some kind of gift pack. Read it on yahoo i think

oh god I love the Harry Potter books, I pre-ordered mine so I will get it on Saturday. I'm gonna be reading it all weekend! Luckily I'm a fast reader.

Oh yeah and the movies are even better, because then I get to look at Tom Felton haha :goodvibes

ugh, harry potter. how i loathe thee.

Ok, i'm not one of those people who hate something w/o even trying it... I DID read the first book. It just... didn't interest me. And it's WAY to overrated and overdone and too many people are obsessed with it.

I am so not looking forward to the end of this week when all my friends are OMGHARRYPOTTER!!!

*dodges tomatoes thrown at her*

The Brittish government had to make a political ruling for the Canadians. I guess they never did really get their Independence did they?

As for the books, I read them, but I'm not a freak about them. I don't buy any of the merchandice, and I hardly ever watch the movies. I just read the books, and wait for the next one to be written. I think they are good books.

Late.

yea the books are good and i read them and watch the movie but i don t like totally freak out over it. Usally someone will buy me the book b/c otherwise i aint getting it lol

It IS Canada
Well you would think after being "independent" for about what, 150 years or so, they would have their own government make their own decsions.

well apparently not

I love the Harry Potter books and can't wait for this one to come out. I'm not obsessed though, I won't be like first in the line to buy one but they are really good books in my opinion. I don't like the movies though (I've only seen the first and didn't enjoy it), I prefer to picture what's happening in my head.

The first two books were the worst. After that they got way better, but the 3rd movie was terrible.

Actually, I like all the books, the first two were good, they weren't bad, it's just that the others are more exciting now that Harry knows what his scar is and what it does

I live 40 minutes away from that store, and in fact have been in that area recently. Why, why, why couldn't I have been in that grocery store at the right time???????
