This will only be of interest to a few of you and i'm not sure if this has been posted before but Harry Shaw are putting on a "Terrorific day trip to disneyland paris" on the 18th of January for £39.95.

I might just have to take them up on this offer.

Thought it might be of interest to some of you

Wow, that sounds like a lot of fun

I can't do that date, but I'll have to keep an eye out for any future trips (maybe we could have a Coventry & area day trip) :thumbsup2

Do you think you'll go Eloise ?

oh mandy i've phoned them up and they have also got dates for the 15th feb 7th and 21st march 23rd may 20th june and dates in july and august
What do you think???????

It sounds like a plan, do you know how much the Feb & Mar dates are ?

I didn't ask though i gather they would pretty much be the same price:confused3
They depart on a friday evening and you travel overnight by ferry arriving at disneyland the next morning then it's the hard part you have to choose which park you would like to visit(or i suppose you could always buy a ticket to the other as i think the studios do not have enough to keep you busy for the day??) you then leave early evening arriving home in the early hours of the following day.
It sounds really good but there are two things that put me off
1, all the travelling
2, choosing which park to visit (it would depend on the time of departure if it is worth buying an extra park ticket)

But a quick disney fix could come above these two little inconviences:rotfl:
I might pop into town on monday and go to the Harry Shaw office and look into it more. Just to see a estimated time of arrival and departure time.

I don't fancy all of the travelling either, but that'll be half the fun too (as we can have a good natter along the way)

Let us know how you get on at the Harry Shaw office Eloise :)

Will do i'll find out all the details and post them when i get home.

It does sound good though

Hi girls, before we moved to the Isle of Man, we lived in Kenilworth for 14 years - I wish I'd known you then!

I remember once going on a Harry Shaw trip called Blackpool Illuminations. We had the afternoon in Blackpool and got ready for the drive along the prom through the illuminations. However, the coach left Blackpool by the back roads and never touched the illuminations at all. When we complained we were told by the company that we had to make our own arrangements to see the lights before the coach left - at 8.30 p.m.!!! We never touched Harry Shaw again after that!

I do miss Warwickshire, though.

Pam

Has anybody done this trip before?
I had a quick look at the website, when it says you sleep on the ferry is that in some sort of cabin? Or is it anywhere you can?!?! I can't imagine you get much for 40 quid! :confused3
I suppose it's not the sort of trip you'd do with children......

I'm probably being daft but nowhere on the site can I see where the coach is departing from. I also can't get the online booking thing to work, maybe it's fully booked already?

It won't be a cabin, they have reclining chairs for people to sleep in on the boats.

Great Find! :goodvibes

Hoping one of us can find out some more information before hand, might give them a call myself. Looks great, has anyone decided to go, would be nice to meet some of you :goodvibes

God knows who i spoke to on saturday but this morning they could not find any other dates that i had been told on saturday.
The only one they have now is this friday apparently it is fully booked but they could add extra seats???? the lady i spoke to said she would get in touch with me if they add any extra dates.
Lets hope that they add some i was really looking forward to the quick fix!!!!:sad2:

Oo, what a shame :headache:

You could try through the website, It still gives you the option to book, although cant get any further as im not registered.:goodvibes

The website won't let you go any further because the room booking is not registering it or maybe they made it that way so you don't get the £5 discount booking on-line saving.
Such a shame though as i would have gone this friday but i have a party to go to
