Hardrock hotel and portofino, can you use both pools

Hello: If you are staying at the hrh, can you still use the pool at the other onsite hotel, and is the pool of the portifino hotel just as good as the hardrocks?

Yes, at least that is what I was told when I made my reservation. I will be a RP and they said use of all the facilities at the other two hotels.
