Hardest ADR's

beside Le Cellier...what are the hard to get ADRs??? Is there a trick you have when calling to get them? Certain order?

Right now it would be any Fantasmic package. I find that Ohana is filling up very quickly as well.

The ADR I had the most trouble with was Kona at 5pm. I called at my 90 day mark at 7 am.
We've not been able to get into 'Ohana and Chef Mickey's on many occasions. Got them both on this trip.

Persistence is the key. We booked a last min trip only 5 days ago and we leave in 2 days & we have managed to get almost every ADR we wanted. I have had to call everyday & sometimes twice a day, but we have gotten them. I even managed to get Le Cellier by checking under the cancel/trade/transfer forum & someone was canceling their ADR. Total pixie dust to that very special DISer.

If you're trying to get hard-to-get reservations, call at exactly 7:00am on the first day you can make ADRs. Start with the ones you think will be harder to get. If you don't get them, call back each morning to check on cancellations (especially as your trip approaches and people cancel their entire trips last-minute)
Some of the most popular ones are Ohanas, Chef Mickeys, and CRT, though I've found that it's been almost random as far as which ones were or weren't available when I called. Some that I thought would be no problem were almost gone and others I got at exactly the right time even though I thought they would be harder.

it is common that tables become available into the 90 day period because they are "released." I don't know why and this is not due to diners cancelling. A number of people here recently had an experience where at the 90 day mark for various June trips, there was no (NO!) availability for Sci Fi for any lunch period for weeks. Not a single reservation for 8 days, for example, when I called. But then called back 4-5 weeks later and I had my choice of times on several days.

Ohana is a difficult reservation to get, but I was persistant and finally got it.
