I have been trying to book at 7 month window for first 2 weeks of dec all i could get was okw or ssr have bcv home resort book at 11 months for 4 nights 1 bed ssr studio for three nights and old key west to be booked on Wednesday for 5 nights I did not realise that it would be so hard to book at 7 months but i wanted to try different resorts for my first time

Outside of New Year's Eve, the 1st two weeks of December are probably the most popular times for DVC members. BCV and BWV go fast because of their proximity to two parks.

The DISboards unofficial December Reservation Availability shows the 1st two weeks in December are pretty popular for BCV and BWV, and this year, the Treehouse Villas and BLT MK view.

December is THE busiest month for DVC reservations, and the first half of the month is particularly hard to get. It really needs to be booked at 11 months.

For the rest of the year, getting reservations at 7 months is pretty easy, with a couple of exceptions. BCV and BWV are tough to get during F&W, and certain villa types are hard to get a 7 months: AKV concierge, BWV std view, BWV grand villas.
