Just an FYI for anybody it might apply to:

My All Access card got us upgraded to pool view. The room was on the first floor, and the music thumped all day (it was cut off at night though). We found that we did not like it. You couldn't sleep late or go back to the room for a nap due to the loud music. In our case, we needed a quiet respite from the loud music, and pool view eliminated that.

It would probably been fine for others, just not us. We loved RPH when we stayed there, and we'll probably go back there from now on unless we get a good rate to try PBH.

Thanks for the tip. I was thinking of purchasing the All Acess card in order to possibly get upgraded at HRH, but given your report, I think I may skip it.

If you happen to go during your birth month, they give you a $10 bonus on your card (comes out to $30 total for a purchase price of $24.95) and a free dessert at HR Cafe. Some on here have gotten better upgrades than I did (one person got a suite). I know they were booked solid while we were there so that may have made a difference.

I got upgraded in October to a Kids Suite with club access!! Yep, you heard me right. I paid for a deluxe queen room. Well worth the $25 bucks the card cost me.

Wow, that is quite an upgrade! I am re-thinking my decision once again.

If you do get one, you can use the $20 that comes on it (plus the extra $10 if it's your birth month) to eat on at the Hard Rock Cafe or to purchase something in the store there. If they only offer you an upgrade to pool view, you could always decline it. If you were on an upper floor pool view, the thumping might not be so bad.

Staying at the HRH in January and wanted to know what is the All Access Pass for $25 and how do you purchase one?

Is there a room layout for the HRH published?

thanks:thanks:

You get several perks with the All Access Pass. At the hotel we got the upgrade and a late check-out (which was helpful for us). You also get first available, preferred seating at the Hard Rock Cafe. They put $20 on your card (meaning the pass only actually costs you $4.95). If it's your birth month, you get an extra $10 plus a free dessert (making your pass cost nothing).

The site I listed above lists all of the perks.

Do you need to purchase the All Access Pass during your birth month to get the extra $10 or use it during your birth month?

They add it on your card during your birth month (send you an email to let you know). If you don't use it before the end of the month, it disappears. In my case, I wasn't going to be at the HRC until December (my birth month was November, and it was gone after the end of Nov.). I called them and let them know that I wasn't near a HRC during November but was going to be there in December, and the customer service rep was kind enough to add it back on for me. :)

Thanks horseshowmom, I just purchased my card. It cost me a little more ($33.20) due to increased shipping for Canada, but it will be my birth month so I still think I did o.k. with it. If I get an upgrade, that would be icing on the cake.

That's what happened to us on June 1, 2010. My husband was not happy. The kids and I liked the music. I considered asking for a room change after the first day but he didn't want to bother with moving.

We still liked the hotel though. The rooms were much bigger than the RPH rooms and since room size matters to us, we'll be sticking with HRH as our first choice.
