Hard Rock Cafe in Orlando

Worth going to? Expensive? Kids menu? Easy to get to? :confused3
I think it's worth going to and a great place to eat. I'm pretty sure they have a kid's menu. It's located at CityWalk at Universal and it's pretty easy to get to. Unless you're going to the parks, wait until after 6pm...the parking is free. You would have to park in the Universal garage and walk over...maybe a 10 min walk...not bad at all.

I love the Hard Rock Cafe. It was good cheap meal. The hot wings is a meal in it self.

Its 10 times better then Planet Hollywood.

Great place - good food - lots of fun. 180 degree opposite of Planet Hollywood where its overpriced and bad (actually terrible) food.

Fantastic. Thanks. DH will be glad to hear this.

Do you think reservations are needed, or we can just wing it?

Lisa -
There is a coupon for the Hard Rock cafe on the orlandocoupons.com website. They also have their menu posted there.

Definately worth heading over to, although if you are looking for really good foo, check out NBA city for your meal instead and just visit Hard Rock.

City Walk is great, you can have a blast over there. Enjoy1

We have been to a lot of Hard Rock Cafe's. Their food is always good and consistant, though a little higher in price. The Orlando location more so. We go for the pins and probably won't eat there much since they took the french dip off the menu.

I just went there for the first time today.

It is in Citywalk, so you will have to pay for parking unless you go after 6 pm. Remember the garage is free after 6pm.

Entrees vary in price. I had a very large Cobb salad for $12, and my family entrees were around the same price. We got 10% off because we are Universal annual passholders. You might get a percentage off being a AAA member as well.

My son really liked the memorabilia. It's a really big restaurant with a lot of things to look at and enjoy. Service was fast today and we had no wait-- but there were limited crowds.

I didn't think the entree charges were all that expensive-- about on par with prices in our NE area.

NBA City has excellent food too.

Im assuming NBA City is basketball themed? DH wont go there - doesnt like basketball. Thanks for the idea though.

Melanie - do you have to make advance reservations with that form? I was looking at it the other day. You have to pick the date and time you want to go?

Anyone notice if there is a kids menu? Mine can probably handle the quantity of an adult meal, I just dont want to pay adult meal prices!! :-)

What I do is print one of those out for every day that we are going. Then if we decide to go that night I use that particular PX. You do have to pick a day and time.

Excellent!

And Melanie - thanks for that tip. I didnt think to print one out for every day. Who knows which day we'd want to go. Good idea!!
