Hard Rock All Access cards...are there different ones?

I have an All Access card that I signed up for free last year. Never used it, and actually just found it.
My question is, are there different All Access cards? I see that they have them that you have to purchase, so I guess I'm trying to figure out if the one I have is the same or different since it was free.
We have a trip scheduled in May, and I'm trying to figure out if I will be eligible for possible free upgrades or late checkouts, etc. Thanks for any help!

I have 2 one that is all black and that I paid for a few years ago. I have another one that is black with flames on it. Got that one free many years ago at a Cafe somewhere. I think it was Baltimore as a promotion.

The black All Access card is the one I get points and perks with. Looks like the one on the left.

The black one is the one I have. So, what does that mean? Do I have to build up rewards before I reap any benefits? Or do I just show it upon checkin? I have never used it since I have received it in the mail.

i bought mine on line about 6 years back.



if you go with the paid HRC / Hard Rock Cafe card, you get the extras.
such as the black card/flamed with $20 of credit pre loaded, back sling, pin, etc.
you gain points/money credit when you use your AA card at the cafes and rock shops.


if you get the free hrc card, you get the black AA card that was posted above.

both of the black cards (AA) are for the perks at the hotel and discounts at HRC rock shops.

when you check into a hrh, you should get the card AA, complimentary.


the perks are a free upgrade if one is available at the hrh.
the upgrade is valid if you book a standard room.
it would be upped to a pool view room.

I must have gotten mine and my hubby's thru a promotion link here last year, because I didn't pay for my black AA card. And it only comes with $5 credit on it. I guess that is what was confusing me. So, can we use this at the pool bar at the Hard Rock Hotel and get any discounts?

i bought mine online but there are some given out as promotions.

if your card looks like the one that is posted in this thread, it is the same card.
we just got ours different ways..


these are the only benefits when you show your AA card at checkin at any HRH:

Late check out, room upgrades at participating hrh and casinos when available.

(the upgrade is from a standard room to a pool view)


you only get the food and merch discount at the HRC and rock shops. (10%)

food and beverage at the pool side at hrh don't qualify for the discount.


the card with the credit on it can be used at the HRH Rock Shop.
that shop is located in the lobby.

or the card w/ credit can be used in the HRC at city walk.

We have 2 standard guarenteed connecting rooms for 3 nights reserved for May. Since we have 4 adults, we plan on spending a little time at the pool and have some food and drinks. Just wondering if there is any discount available.

let me check on that and see what i come up with.
i'll call an employee that i know that works at hrh.
i was gonna say the AAA wouldn't be honored but like i said, i'll make a call and ask.

i know i couldn't use the AAA card at The Kitchen but could use my AP there for the discount on food.

since HRH is not a Loews Hotel, they go with the AA program.
and that is limited on what you get at the hotel compared to the YouFirst program with Loews.

The Beach Bar (pool bar) does not discount with the All Access card. The Kitchen does and so does The Shop next to lobby at HRH, as well as The Hard Rock Cafe in City-walk.

I have the all access card that you had to pay for. I got mine a long time ago, its gray and says All Access V.2.0 - but i know (from experience) that it is good for the discounts and upgrades at the hotel.

I thought I remember long ago signing up for an All Access card for free but I no longer have that card. So if I buy the $24.95 card I get the chance for an upgrade and a $20 credit (to be used in the Cafe?). We have a 1 night reservation booked for Hard Rock in early June for a 2 queen bed/garden view annual passholder rate. The upgrade from that would be pool view?
