I am a DVC (VWL and Vero) and Starwood owner with two summer weeks available at Harborside Atlantis in the Bahamas for trade to DVC owners. I am unable to use these weeks because of a job change and house move.
This resort is nearly impossible to trade into during school break periods, and difficult the remainder of the year. DVC has removed it from its II trade list because of this scarcity and the frustration of so many DVC members unsuccessful in trading in.
Harborside is adjacent to and shares privileges with the Atlantis resort with amazing pools, aquariums, Mayan temple and other waterslides, a lazy river, beaches, and numerous activities, including a Discovery Channel kids camp. I have a 2BR unit lockoff unit available for the week of August 13 through August 20, 2004 (Friday through Friday). The 2BR (1565 sq. ft.-sleeps 8) includes:
-2 separate living room and dining area, with sleeper sofa
-Fully equipped kitchen
-Washer and dryer
-2 BRs with king sized beds, luxurious master bedroom with whirlpool.
I also have a 1BR unit available for the week of August 28 to September 4 (Saturday to Saturday). The deluxe 1BR (557 sq. ft., sleeps 4) includes:
-Separate living room and dining area, with sleeper sofa
-Fully equipped kitchenette, with refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave convection oven, 2-burner stovetop
-Washer and dryer
-Luxurious master bedroom with king-size bed
I would trade the 2BR for 350 points (representing a 7 night high season DVC stay) and the 1BR for 225 points (while leading into the Labor Day weekend, most kids will be in school this week). My strong preference is for points that expire after April 2005.
