You should plan on the drive taking at least an hour, but there’s always the possibility of a backup due to an accident (which there frequently seems to be). So I’d allocate 90 minutes drive time for safety (or more of you want to be very cautious).
So plan for that in addition to whatever time you need to load the vehicle and however much time you feel you need at the airport.
BUR is small and security is usually pretty fast. But you’ll still need to check your luggage and go thru security and walk to your gate, so plan as you normally would for that.
In reality, if you build in time for safety, you’ll probably be to your gate plenty early. The drawback is that there’s not much to do at BUR to pass the time. Of course, that’s better than running into an unexpected backup and missing your flight!
