the new AP code is only for Sun-thurs - sounds like they are expecting DVC to buy a lot of AP's....(snip)........

I don't think the AP discount announcement has anything at all to do with DVC members.

The travel patterns of most non-DVC members involve at least one weekend and often two. Thus, the Sunday - Thursday nights are a lot easier to book at the non-DVC resorts than are the Friday and Saturday nights. And so, as Kathleena just posted, the best availability for the AP room discount is for weekday nights.
