Happy surprise - BWV still avail pre-Xmas week

We had to cancel our Spring Break trip (1BR BW view). So I called DVC yesterday with a few dates in hand during school breaks (we won't do summer again though) and was surprised to find 12/18-12/23 avail for the same room type - I thought it would have gone quickly at the 11 month window. MS was surprised too, but thought it was because of the new resorts. Just wanted to pass the info along.

Do you think they will reduce the price of the points because of
the economy? Where can I find the price of the points?

How much are the points for the new DVC resort.

I would love to buy in to Old Key West. I am at Saratoga Springs but
stay at OKW.

but hey go look at the resellers there are definitely bargins to be had.
