Hope no one has trouble with their (Champagne) corks tonight.
I just hate when they're all stubborn and won't pop!

Best of everything in the coming year!

Opening Champagne is easy!

Hold the cork firmly, and gently twist and pull the bottle down away from the cork! You do NOT want to push the cork out! You loose all of your bubbles! :lmao:

And waste all the booze! :scared1:

But I kinda like when it goes all over.
It's festive and naughty. ;)

WHAT???? I thought you were supposed to shake the bottle vigorously until the cork came out. :)

I don't know anything about this "cork" business since I don't drink, but Wally make sure you stay under your table and I'll stay under mine......

Is James sitting at yours?
I may need to crawl under that table.

Did you miss "Scarface"? The scene where Al Pacino gets mad?

Happy New Year, everyone!:dance3:

Toasting to a Magical '09 for all! :wizard:

Should Dick Clark retire........:confused3

I had mixed feelings watching him last night. I'm sure he isnt ready to give it all up yet, but he really doesn't look good.

Does every float in the Rose Parade get some sort of an award? :confused3

And have you ever seen a longer Disney commercial? I swear one last night on the Dick Clark show was 10 minutes long! Shrek looked at me and asked "Is this still a commercial?" :sad2:

On CNN .......Anderson Cooper, Kathy Griffin, and a drag queen suspended in a red pump.

Do we have a new gay NYE tradition? :confused3

There was definitely something "not right" about Dick Clark. He had sort of a "Max Headroom" quality about him. I'm not sure he was even there. I think they might have just created him via CGI. And speaking of people having a "fake quality", is anyone else as annoyed by Ryan Seachrest as I am?

I don't know if there's a gay NYE tradition. We had my family's traditional New Years Eve meal, had a bunch of really great friends over, and I rang in 2009 with Tolliver in my arms, Scott's arm around me, Tolliver licking my chin as Scott kissed me. *sigh* It was awesome.

Happy New Year everyone, and I must say that joining my fellow 'mos on the Dis has been one of the good thiings from 2008!! :)

Happy New Year, everyone!
Wishing each of you a great 2009!!
