I want to thank you all for being my friend (even if most of you are in the box as tom says) I look forward to a year of meeting more of you and enjoying my family and my new job. I haven't seen a new year in and most of you aren't here right now ( i think Buffy is) but i can't think of a better place to be when the new year comes.

Happy New Year!

According to DH, I was sleeping (and snoring) within minutes of rolling over around 9:15 last night. I'm such a party animal!

Here's to good health, good friends, and lots of family time for 2010.

I too was sleeping by 9p. Poor DS17 posted on his facebook that he was dancing in his kitchen, making brownies and being all alone on New Years... His brother was out, and his parents were sleeping. DH did get up at some point, so hopefully they watched the ball drop together!

Happy New Year, to everyone (in the box, as Christy says!)!

Had a nice dinner (with Z2Hs boyfriend over), watched movies, took a short break at 11:55 to watch the ball drop in our beloved and familiar Times Square, then went back to the movies for a bit before collapsing into bed.

Folks are slowly waking up now and straggling downstairs.

DH and I will watch the Rose Parade (love this!), finish the last of our "money day" tasks (review investments for under-performers) and find replacements and/or move stuff around. Then, more movies and just relaxing (have to finish some cards) and head out to a NYD brunch.

We managed to stay up until 10:15 then had a great sleep until 8:00 am. Great way to start the New Year!!

DD isn't feeling well though, stomach bug. I hope it isn't a sign of things to come.

We all made it till the ball dropped...

DH was up and moving early this AM... and so the year starts with him being him..and the rest of us trying to enjoy the vacation time we have left!

I made it till 10:30. DH dropped not long after that. But the boys stayed up until Midnight. Not that they had any idea what to do at midnight. They just knew they need to be up that long.

Hello everyone - happy new year! (I got it in before the day ended!)

Lou and I ended up going to sleep around 4ish? I know I went to sleep around then at least, not sure about him. We watched The Emperor's New Groove and then crashed - we were going to do Mulan after that, but couldn't make it. I woke up around 8:30 to see if I had to work, and when I didn't, went back to sleep until noon. Lou was upstairs, so I didn't bother him and went to the brunch with my mom - he finally woke up around 3 pm when I came upstairs to bug him.
